NPFL: Ikenna Ofor's Strike Hands Nasarawa United Important Win

It was a wonderful evening at the Lafia Township Stadium as Ikenna Ofor goal handed them the three points against Lobi Stars, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The North Central derby lived up to expectations as both teams played out their hearts for the maximum points but it was Ikenna's 49th minutes goal that proved the difference.
The fast and skillful attacker tapped in Silas Nwankwo header resulting from a corner kick to hand the Solid Miners their seventh win of the campaign.
Ikenna have now scored two goals in the last three games and the former Flomat FC of Abuja player believes his side can still compete for the league title this season with 3 points separating them and the top team, Kwara United.
"We were at the zenith of the table before the recent slip in form and now we are back to winning ways. The coach, Bala Nikyu always tell us to have our eyes on the title and we believe we can do it." He told BSN Sports.
Following his excellent performance that earned his team the maximum three points, Ikenna Ofor was voted Man of The Match.
The Solid Miners will visit Akure in their next match-day where they'll take on Sunshine Stars who are without a win in their last seven fixtures.
